Doctor Who (2005) Season 8 Episode 16 Colony in Space: Episode 2

The Doctor and Jo continue their investigation on the planet Uxarieus, where they encounter the unfortunate colonists who have been suffering from drought and radiation. The colonists believe that they have found the solution to their problems in the form of a mysterious artifact known as the "blue crystal." But as the Doctor soon discovers, the crystal is actually a powerful weapon, coveted by a group of ruthless mining company executives who are willing to go to great lengths to obtain it. With time running out for the colonists, the Doctor and Jo must navigate a complicated web of deceit and betrayal in order to protect the innocent and prevent a catastrophe that could have far-reaching consequences for the entire galaxy.
