Ep 18. Blue Whales Vs. The Flossinators

Two teams go head-to-head to conquer messy physical challenges in the 18th episode of Double Dare (2018) season 1 titled "Blue Whales Vs. The Flossinators." The teams are led by team captains who compete in a range of activities that test their endurance, mental abilities, agility, and physical prowess.
In this episode, the Blue Whales and The Flossinators compete for a chance to win the ultimate prize- a family vacation to Universal Orlando Resort. Both teams bring their A-game, determined to gain an edge over their opponents.
Hosted by Liza Koshy, the episode kicks off with the first physical challenge, “Fizzing Fountains,” where both teams must use materials to construct life-size fountains that will spray soda into their teammate's cups. The team with the most cups filled in a minute wins the challenge and a cash prize.
Next up is “Sand Blasted,” a game where both teams have to transport buckets of sand into a container using only their hands and feet. The challenge requires great coordination, teamwork, and speed.
The third challenge is “Smoke Hole,” which involves blowing smoke into a giant tube to make it hit a sensor at the other end. The challenge requires a lot of trial and error, as contestants must find the correct angle to aim the smoke at the sensor.
In “Saddle Soakers,” both teams have to ride a horse and jump over hurdles without falling while getting drenched in water. This challenge tests the rider's balance, strength, and endurance.
“Say What?” is the fifth challenge, where teams must guess popular phrases and words that are scrambled and spoken backward by their teammates. The team that guesses the most words correctly wins the challenge.
The final challenge is the famous “Obstacle Course," an obstacle-packed race that stretches across the entire set and involves everything from giant inflatable obstacles to human hamster wheels. The team that completes the course the fastest wins the game and moves on to the final round.
Throughout the game, the teams have the option to pass on challenges to their opponents in exchange for a cash prize. The team with the most cash at the end of the game is declared the winner.
