Later in the episode, Dr. Oakley receives a call from a campsite where a group of tourists have reported a grizzly bear in the area. Dr. Oakley accompanies a wildlife officer to investigate and quickly discovers that the bear is sick and in distress. The team works quickly to tranquilize the bear and transport it to a nearby facility where it can receive medical attention. Dr. Oakley examines the bear and discovers that it has been suffering from a severe case of mange. She administers medication and other treatments to help the bear recover.

Throughout the episode, Dr. Oakley also interacts with a variety of other animals, including a herd of bison, a lynx, and a bald eagle. She checks on the health of these animals and provides any necessary treatment.
