Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet is a reality television series that follows the veterinary practice of Dr. Michelle Oakley, who treats animals in the remote communities of the Yukon. In season 9 episode 10, titled "Minkus Stinkus," Dr. Oakley encounters a number of unusual cases as she travels to different parts of the Yukon.

The episode begins with Dr. Oakley visiting a sled dog kennel, where she examines a dog that is having difficulty breathing. She diagnoses the dog with a bacterial infection in its lungs and prescribes antibiotics, but she also notes that the dog has a serious case of tartar build-up on its teeth, which could lead to more serious health problems if left untreated. Dr. Oakley recommends that the owner schedule a dental cleaning for the dog as soon as possible.

Next, Dr. Oakley travels to a remote cabin to treat a family's pet cat, which has developed a large abscess on its neck. The cat has been living outside for several weeks and has been getting into fights with other animals. Dr. Oakley sedates the cat and drains the abscess, but she also discovers that the cat has a serious flea infestation, which could lead to other health problems. She treats the cat for fleas and recommends that the family keep the cat indoors to prevent future injuries.

Later in the episode, Dr. Oakley receives a call from a farmer who is concerned about a young calf that has stopped nursing. When she arrives on the farm, she discovers that the calf has a serious case of pneumonia, which is making it difficult for the animal to breathe. Dr. Oakley administers antibiotics and fluids, but she also recommends that the farmer make changes to the calf's environment to prevent future infections.

Finally, Dr. Oakley visits a wildlife sanctuary to treat a mink that has developed a peculiar odor and a skin rash. The mink's enclosure is filled with strong-smelling mink musk, which could be causing the skin irritation. Dr. Oakley examines the mink and determines that it has a fungal infection, which she treats with medication. She also recommends that the mink be moved to a new enclosure with fresh bedding to reduce the risk of further infections.

Throughout the episode, Dr. Oakley demonstrates her expertise in treating a wide variety of animals, from sled dogs to farm animals to wildlife. She also emphasizes the importance of preventative care and regular check-ups in keeping animals healthy. With her warm and caring demeanor, Dr. Oakley proves herself to be a trusted and valued member of the Yukon community.
