It's December 31, a good day for lifeguard-in-training Penny to face her fear of big waves. All eyes are on her as she paddles into some of the biggest waves of the season. A young man suffering from the effects of too much sun and alcohol is brought unconscious to the first aid room; he has a series of seizures and struggles to identify his friends.
