Ep 2. Ana deja el colegio

El Reemplazante season 2 episode 2, named "Ana deja el colegio," follows the story of Vicente, a former convict who has recently joined a high school as a teacher, after successfully completing his teaching diploma. The episode opens with Ana, a promising student, being bullied by her classmates. Ana is deeply disturbed by the incident and decides to leave school.

Vicente tries to convince Ana to stay and assures her that she can always talk to him if she has any issues. Ana agrees to come back to school, and Vicente decides to take matters into his hands and rectify the situation. He talks to the students involved in the incident and makes them realize the gravity of their actions.

Meanwhile, Vicente has to deal with his troubled past as well. His girlfriend - Mariana questions him about his sudden disappearance 15 years ago. She is also upset that Vicente doesn't like her daughter, Emma. Vicente tells Mariana about his past and why he had to go away. Mariana is empathetic towards Vicente and decides to give him a chance.

In the school, Vicente has to deal with another student - Luis. Luis is a drug dealer and bullies his classmates into buying drugs from him. Vicente confronts Luis and makes him realize the consequences of his actions. Luis gets angry and decides to seek revenge. In a later incident, Luis attacks Vicente with a knife and injures him badly.

As Vicente recovers from his injury, Ana decides to help him with his recovery. She brings him food and books to read while he's in bed. Slowly, Vicente realizes that Ana is a special student and that he has to do everything in his power to help her. Vicente decides to contact Ana's mother and lets her know about the incident.

The episode ends with Ana's mother visiting the school and getting reassured by Vicente that Ana is in good hands. Vicente promises to help Ana achieve her dreams and become the best version of herself.
