Emma Fielding Mysteries is a series that follows the life of Emma Fielding, a brilliant archeologist who is often called upon to solve mysteries that revolve around historical artifacts and sites across the US.

In season 1, episode 1, titled "Site Unseen: An Emma Fielding Mystery," we see Emma returning to her hometown, which she hasn't visited in many years. Emma is on a mission to investigate a recent housing development project taking place on the land that used to be the home of an 18th-century buried treasure. The development project has been met with opposition from the residents who believe that the site is of historical significance.

Emma teams up with her old friend, FBI agent Jim Conner, to get to the bottom of things. They start by surveying the area, and Emma quickly spots some concrete pieces that look like grave markers. After digging up the area, they find a buried coffin, which they soon discover has been moved.

As they look into the matter further, they uncover evidence of theft and vandalism at the site, raising suspicions about the intentions of the developers. Emma and Jim continue to work together to uncover the truth while also trying to avoid getting themselves into harm's way.

Along the way, Emma must also deal with the tensions between her and her father, who is a contractor for the housing development project. He is upset with Emma for creating difficulties for the project and is also seemingly troubled by her return home.

The episode is a thrilling and exciting ride that keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats. The story is full of twists and turns, and the characters are engaging and interesting. It is an excellent start to the series and leaves the viewers wanting more.
