Family Feud 99 is a popular American television game show that first aired in 1999. The show is produced by FremantleMedia North America and starred comedian Louie Anderson as the host. Family Feud 99 is a revival of the original Family Feud game show that aired from 1976-1985, and then from 1988-1995.

The premise of Family Feud 99 is simple: two families compete against each other to guess the most popular responses to survey questions posed to a group of 100 people. The family with the most points at the end of the game wins a cash prize and gets to play in the bonus round for a chance to win even more money.

The game is played in several rounds, each with a different survey question. The first round starts with one member from each family stepping up to the podium and trying to buzz in first to give the most popular answer to the question. The family who gets the highest score wins control of the board and can decide to play or pass to the other team.

The team that plays must then guess the remaining answers on the board by taking turns giving an answer. If an answer is not one of the remaining options, the other team gets a chance to steal the points by guessing a correct answer. The team with the most points at the end of the round gets to play the bonus round.

The bonus round is called 'Fast Money' and involves two members from the winning family playing together to guess the top answers to five survey questions. One member is sent offstage while the other is given 20 seconds to answer the questions. Once the first member is done, they switch places and the second member has to answer the same questions in 25 seconds. If the combined score of the two members is over 200, they win the grand prize.

Family Feud 99 is a fast-paced and entertaining game show that has been entertaining audiences for over two decades. The show is known for its hilarious moments, as families often give outrageous and unexpected answers to the survey questions. Louie Anderson's comedic timing and warm personality made him a beloved host, and he helped to make the show a huge success during his time as host.

Overall, Family Feud 99 is a classic game show that is easy to watch and fun to play along with at home. It's a great way to spend time with family and friends, and it's a nostalgic look back at television game shows from the late 1990s.
