Ep 18. A Bug's Life

Crichton and the rest of the crew of Moya are hit with a massive shock when they are taken over by a swarm of bugs. These bugs, known as the Zelbinion, are a fearsome and powerful force that can take over an entire ship in minutes. As they are chased through space by the Zelbinion, the crew must find a way to defeat them before they are completely taken over.

As they struggle to avoid the Zelbinion, the crew is forced to split up into smaller groups in order to cover more ground. Crichton is paired up with Aeryn, who he has been growing closer to over the course of the season. Together, they must navigate the treacherous terrain of Moya and try to find a way to defeat the bugs.

Meanwhile, Rygel and Chiana are tasked with trying to find a way to stop the Zelbinion from spreading throughout the ship. They come up with a risky plan to use a lost technology that they have discovered in order to create a shield around Moya, which will prevent the bugs from taking over.

As the crew races against time to defeat the Zelbinion, they learn that the bugs are not just a mindless swarm of creatures, but instead are controlled by an intelligent being. This being, known as Khrest, is a fearsome and powerful creature that has been using the Zelbinion to take over ship after ship throughout the galaxy.

With the help of a few unexpected allies, and a lot of courage and determination, the crew of Moya comes up with a plan to defeat Khrest and the Zelbinion once and for all. They face incredible danger and obstacles along the way, but their determination to save Moya and each other drives them forward.

In the end, the crew emerges victorious but with some emotional scars to show for their harrowing experience. As they prepare to continue their journey through space, they are left with a newfound sense of respect and appreciation for each other, and a renewed commitment to their mission to find a way back home.
