Ep 2. I, E.T.

John Crichton, an astronaut from Earth who found himself lost in a distant part of the galaxy, finds himself stranded on a living ship called Moya. Crichton and the ship's escaped prisoners, a group of alien beings, are on the run from the militaristic Peacekeepers.

In the second episode of the series, "I, E.T.", Crichton experiences a serious culture clash when he tries to communicate with an alien species on a nearby planet. Despite his good intentions, his attempts to make contact with the aliens only result in misunderstandings and frustration.

As they search for a way to repair a crucial component of Moya's systems, Crichton and the other crew members stumble across a strange alien artifact on the planet's surface. Upon investigation, they find that the artifact is actually some sort of message from an unknown intelligence.

As they try to decipher the code and figure out what the message means, tensions within the group begin to rise. Some members of the crew believe that the message is a beacon from friendly aliens who could help them escape the Peacekeepers. Others suspect that the message is a trap, designed to lure them into danger or capture.

As the situation becomes more and more tense, Crichton's attempts to mediate only seem to make things worse. Meanwhile, he struggles with feelings of homesickness and isolation, unable to communicate with anyone on the ship in his native language.

In the end, the crew must work together to solve the mystery of the alien message and find a way to return to Moya before the Peacekeepers can catch up with them. Along the way, they learn valuable lessons about communication, trust, and the importance of a unified team.
