First up, we meet 32-year-old teacher Amy, who is searching for someone who is kind, funny, and ambitious. She is paired with 33-year-old civil engineer Paddy, who is looking for someone who is easy to talk to and has a good sense of humor. The pair seem to hit it off right away, bonding over their shared love of football. However, things take a turn when Amy reveals she is a staunch supporter of a rival team to Paddy’s favorite club.
Next, we meet 24-year-old hairdresser Lee, who is hoping to find someone who is honest, faithful, and sporty. He is matched with 22-year-old student Aoife, who is looking for someone who is genuine, funny, and can make her laugh. The two share a mutual love of music and banter throughout the date, but things get a little awkward when Lee reveals some of his personal insecurities.
The third couple to be introduced is 26-year-old bar manager Amy-Jo, who is searching for someone who is confident, loyal, and personable. She is paired with 24-year-old IT sales executive Kenneth, who is looking for someone who is outgoing, honest, and ambitious. The two hit it off immediately, with Kenneth telling Amy-Jo that he has already bought tickets for her to attend a festival they had previously discussed. However, things get a little uncomfortable when the subject of ex-partners comes up.
Lastly, we meet 29-year-old chef Cathal, who is hoping to find someone who is confident, kind, and funny. He is matched with 27-year-old HR administrator Leanne, who is looking for someone who is ambitious, driven, and can make her laugh. The pair bond over their love of food, with Cathal cooking up a storm for Leanne.
