Ep 5. Electric

In Flaked season 1 episode 5, titled "Electric," Chip takes a morning jog to clear his mind after the events of the previous episode. Along the way, he encounters Kara, the woman he met at the bookstore in episode three. The two hit it off and spend the day together, with Kara showing Chip around Venice Beach.

Meanwhile, Chip's best friend Dennis is struggling with his own issues. He's been living in a tent on the beach since his wife kicked him out, and he's having trouble adjusting to his new living situation. He also opens up to London, his friend and co-worker, about his alcohol addiction and the damage it has caused in his life.

The episode ends with Chip and Dennis sitting on the beach. Dennis asks Chip for help getting sober, and Chip promises to be there for him.
