Ep 16. City of the Doomed

In Ghost Hunters International season 1 episode 16, titled "City of the Doomed," the team travels to the historic city of Chinchón, Spain to investigate reports of ghostly activity at the Casa de la Cadena.

The Casa de la Cadena, a 16th century palace that once belonged to the Bishop of Toledo, has a dark past. Legend has it that the bishop's niece, Princess Joanna, was locked away in the palace after going insane. It's said that she died in her cell and her ghost still haunts the building today.

The team begins their investigation by touring the grounds of the palace and gathering historical information about its past inhabitants. They interview local historians and paranormal experts, learning about previous sightings and unexplained occurrences.

As they prepare for their nighttime investigation, the team sets up cameras and audio equipment throughout the building. They split into small groups and explore the palace, hoping to capture evidence of paranormal activity.

Throughout the investigation, the team experiences temperature drops and unexplained noises. They review their audio and video footage, discovering several compelling pieces of evidence. One camera captures an orb-like object moving across the screen, while another picks up an eerie, unexplained whisper.

The team also conducts an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) session, during which they ask questions in hopes of receiving a response from any spirits present in the building. They capture several EVPs, including one that seems to be saying "leave" in Spanish, and another that sounds like a woman's voice.

Overall, the investigation of Casa de la Cadena proves to be one of the most intriguing and potentially haunted locations the team has ever visited. As they wrap up their investigation and pack up their equipment, they can't help but wonder what other ghosts might be lurking in the City of the Doomed.
