Ep 11. Tasmania Death Sentence

The Ghost Hunters International team is back with their second season and this time they've traveled to the beautiful coast of Tasmania, Australia. This group of paranormal investigators is determined to uncover the truth behind some of the country's most haunted locations.

In this episode, the team has their sights set on the Port Arthur Historic Site. This World Heritage-listed tourist destination may look picturesque, but its past is anything but. Back in the 1800s, Port Arthur was a convict settlement where some of the most dangerous criminals in history were sent to serve their sentences. It's understandable then that there have been numerous reports of paranormal activity occurring within the grounds.

Armed with their high-tech equipment, the team begins their investigation. They are joined by a local historian who lectures them about the site's history before leaving them to explore some of the most notoriously haunted areas of the site. Straight away, the team encounters strange occurrences, such as equipment malfunctions and doors that refuse to stay shut.

The team eventually makes their way to the Separate Prison, which was used to house some of the most dangerous criminals in the settlement. It's here that the team experiences their most frightening encounter yet. They hear strange whispers and footsteps, but when they investigate, they find no one there. Suddenly, one of the team members is violently shoved from behind, leaving her shaken and terrified.

The team decides to take a break and regroup before continuing their investigation. That's when they realize that they are not alone and that something is following them. They feel a presence that seems to be getting closer and closer, making them feel increasingly uneasy. They begin to wonder if they should continue on, but decide that they must finish what they came to do.

Their investigation eventually leads them to the Isle of the Dead, which was used to bury many of the convicts who died on the island. Here, the team experiences some of the most intense paranormal activity yet. They hear voices coming from the cemetery and see strange shadows moving around the headstones. The team investigates further, but as they do, they find themselves being stalked by something they can't see.

The team finally decides to call it quits, feeling that they have uncovered all that they can for the evening. As they pack up their gear and make their way out of the site, they can't shake the feeling that they were being watched the entire time. They stop to look back one last time and to their surprise, they see an apparition that sends chills down their spines.

Overall, this was a thrilling episode that proves once again that the Ghost Hunters International team isn't afraid to get up close and personal with the paranormal. Their investigation of the Port Arthur Historic Site was intense, heart-pumping, and at times, downright scary.
