Ep 3. Thank You, San Francisco

Sophia (Britt Robertson) realizes that her eBay business is taking off and she decides to expand her inventory by visiting thrift stores in San Francisco. Sophia's best friend Annie (Ellie Reed) tags along with her on the trip, and they discover a hidden gem in the form of a vintage jacket. However, Sophia's reckless behavior puts them in a bind when they miss the last bus back to their hotel.

To make matters worse, Sophia's constant clashes with Dax (Alphonso McAuley), her business partner in the eBay venture, have finally reached boiling point. Sophia is struggling to make a profit and Dax believes that her wild spending habits are hindering their success. He demands that she make some serious changes to her spending habits and she reluctantly agrees.

As the night goes on, Sophia and Annie find themselves homeless and broke in the city. They decide to use Sophia's jacket to barter and try to find a place to stay for the night. Along the way, they meet a homeless man named Lionel (Frankie Shaw) who teaches them a valuable lesson about gratitude. Lionel becomes a source of inspiration for Sophia and helps her to put her troubles into perspective.

Meanwhile, Dax is left to handle the eBay business on his own and realizes that he needs Sophia's creativity and ingenuity to make up for his lack of business acumen. He realizes that she brings something valuable to the table and decides to apologize for his previous behavior. Sophia and Dax reconcile and come up with a plan to take their business to the next level.

As the sun rises on a new day, Sophia and Annie return to their hotel room with a renewed sense of purpose. Sophia realizes that she is capable of achieving greatness and that it is up to her to make her dreams a reality. With Dax by her side, and the lessons she learned from Lionel fresh in her mind, Sophia sets her sights on even greater success.
