Glitter Force is an animated television series produced by Toei Animation and Saban Brands, which initially premiered in Japan under the title Smile Precure! and later dubbed into English for an international audience. The show centers around a group of five girls: Emily, Kelsey, Lily, April, and Chloe, all brought together by destiny to become the Glitter Force and save the world from evil.

In the Glitter Force world, there is a magical kingdom called Jubiland, which is home to an enchanted queen named Euphoria. She has a faithful guardian named Candy, who is one of her animal fairy companions. However, the kingdom is under constant attack from an evil empire known as the Shadow Realm, led by Emperor Nogo. He aims to plunge the world into darkness and chaos, and the only hope for Jubiland's survival lies in the hands of the Glitter Force.

The five girls are all middle school students, each with unique personalities and interests. Emily is the main protagonist, a cheerful and optimistic girl who loves baking and dreams of becoming a pastry chef. Kelsey is a sporty tomboy who excels in martial arts and has a passion for soccer. Lily is a quiet bookworm who loves nature and animals, while April is a fashionable girl who loves music and dance. Chloe is the brains of the group, a tech-savvy girl who loves science and video games.

Each of the girls is bestowed with a magical power and a corresponding costume that reflects their personality. Emily becomes Glitter Lucky, Kelsey becomes Glitter Sunny, Lily becomes Glitter Peace, April becomes Glitter Breeze, and Chloe becomes Glitter Tech. Together, they form the Glitter Force and set out to stop Emperor Nogo and his minions, who use dark powers to unleash monsters and destroy the world.

The Glitter Force's primary mode of transportation is a flying car known as the Glitter Express, which is piloted by Candy. The car can transform into a giant robot called the Glitter Spade, which the girls use to battle the Shadow Realm's monsters. They are also equipped with transformation items known as Glitter Charms, which allow them to morph into their Glitter Force forms and grant them magical abilities.

Aside from fighting monsters, the Glitter Force also has other challenges to face. They must balance their daily lives as school students with their superhero duties, and also deal with personal issues and conflicts. Emily, for instance, has a crush on a boy named Kippie, while Kelsey has a rival in the form of a fellow martial arts student named Brett.

The show has elements of fantasy, action, and comedy, with a focus on themes of friendship, teamwork, and self-discovery. The animation style is bright and colorful, with character designs and backgrounds that evoke a sense of whimsy and charm. The voice acting is by a talented cast, including Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Queen Euphoria, Danielle Nicole as Emily/Glitter Lucky, Debi Derryberry as Candy, Laura Bailey as Kelsey/Glitter Sunny, Keith Silverstein as Emperor Nogo, Patrick Seitz as Ulric, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Chloe/Glitter Tech, and Alex Cazares as April/Glitter Breeze.

Overall, Glitter Force is an enjoyable and engaging show that appeals to a wide age range, from young children to adults. Its mixture of action, humor, and positivity makes it a great choice for anyone looking for a lighthearted, feel-good anime series.

Glitter Force is a series that is currently running and has 2 seasons (40 episodes). The series first aired on December 18, 2015.
