Go Away Unicorn! is a children's television show that follows the adventures of a young girl named Alice and her imaginary friend, a unicorn named Unicorn. The show is based on the children's book series of the same name, written by Emily Mullock and illustrated by Joanna Muñoz. Season 1, Episode 22 of the show is titled "Grow Up, Unicorn!"
In this episode, Alice is excitedly preparing for her school's Career Day. She has already decided that she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up and is eager to share this with her classmates. However, Unicorn is not as enthusiastic about the idea. He tells Alice that he doesn't want her to grow up and leave him behind, and suggests that she consider becoming a unicornologist instead.
Alice is frustrated by Unicorn's lack of support for her dreams and tries to convince him to change his mind. But Unicorn remains stubborn, insisting that Alice stay young forever and continue to play with him. Alice is torn between her desire to please her friend and her own ambitions.
As Alice continues to plan her Career Day presentation, she can't help but feel discouraged by Unicorn's disapproval. She confides in her mother, who encourages her to follow her heart and pursue her dreams. With her mother's support, Alice is inspired to create a presentation that showcases her love of animals and her passion for helping them.
At Career Day, Alice gives a fantastic presentation about the life of a veterinarian. She shows her classmates pictures of animals she has helped in the past and talks about the importance of caring for animals. Everyone is impressed by her knowledge and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Unicorn watches from the sidelines, still feeling resentful but starting to realize that he may have been wrong to stand in the way of Alice's dreams.
After Career Day, Alice and Unicorn have a heart-to-heart conversation. Alice tells Unicorn how important it is for her to have her own goals and pursue her passions. Unicorn finally understands that he needs to support Alice, even if that means she will have to grow up and leave him behind. With this realization, Unicorn surprises Alice by revealing that he has become a veterinarian himself - in the land of unicorns, where he is able to help all kinds of magical creatures.
The episode ends with Alice and Unicorn reconciling and promising to support each other no matter what. They both realize that growing up doesn't mean leaving behind the things you love, but rather embracing new challenges and opportunities. Alice is excited about her future as a veterinarian, and Unicorn is happy that he can still be a part of her life - in his own fantastical way.
