Goblin Works Mod Shop Season 1 Episode 3 Land Rover Defender

In the third episode of Goblin Works Mod Shop's first season, the team takes on their first Land Rover Defender project. Project manager Jimmy de Ville and his team of expert mechanics, engineers, and fabricators aim to transform a 1987 Land Rover Defender 90 into a unique, custom-designed off-road machine.

They start by assessing the vehicle's condition and identifying the areas that need the most work. The chassis, suspension, brakes, and drivetrain are all in need of some major upgrades.

The team decides to swap out the old engine with a 2.4-liter Duratorq TDCi diesel engine from a newer Defender. They also upgrade the suspension with a custom, bespoke system designed in-house. To improve the vehicle's off-road capabilities, they fit it with a set of BF Goodrich all-terrain tires and install a Warn winch on the front bumper.

But the team doesn't stop there. They also work on the exterior design of the vehicle. They remove the old paint and build a custom roll cage, giving the Defender a muscular and aggressive look. They also fabricate a new front grille and a set of custom wheel arches to accommodate the larger tires.
