Ep 3. Game On

Billy seems to be settling in as a lawyer for the down-and-out residents of Venice, California, but his calm is shattered when his friend and fellow lawyer, Marva, is brutally murdered. Despite mounting pressure from a seemingly omnipotent mayor's office, Billy takes on the case of Marva's client, a young man named Julio who is accused of the crime.

As Billy investigates Marva's death and Julio's possible involvement, he encounters a slew of obstacles and unsavory characters, including high-ranking city officials, corrupt cops, and a dangerous gang leader. With the help of his team, which includes a private investigator and an ex-cop, Billy navigates treacherous waters in the pursuit of justice for Marva and Julio.

Meanwhile, Billy's personal life is also thrown into disarray when he reconnects with an old flame, now the star of a hit TV show, and must contend with the fallout from their unfinished past.
