The Gordita's trick or treating mainly takes place in their neighborhood, located in the suburbs of Orlando. The neighborhoods’ houses are decorated with different themes, and the residents welcome them with open arms. One of the neighborhood residents is even dressed up as a flamenco dancer, and they start developing a friendship. The Gordita family ends the night exhausted but laughing and full of candy. Carlota and her daughter end up having a heart to heart conversation about the importance of taking the best from the different cultures.
