After a fierce battle, Gran and his companions are able to retrieve the crystal that Rackam needs. However, their success is short-lived as they are soon ambushed by an army of harpies who have been watching them from afar.

In the midst of the chaos, Rackam's ship suddenly appears, piloted by his partner, a dragon knight named Katalina. Together, the group is finally able to defeat the harpies and make their way back to Zinkenstill with the crystal in tow.

Once back in town, Rackam and Katalina reveal that they are skyfarers, and that they have been searching for Lyria for quite some time. They offer to help Gran, Lyria, and Vyrn on their quest to find the missing dragon, and the group sets off on their new adventure with Rackam and Katalina by their side.
