In the second part of the episode 'The Twelve Labours of Hercules', Greek Tales for Kids takes us through the next six labours that Hercules is required to complete in order to atone for his past sins and become a hero to the Gods. After successfully capturing and bringing back the Erymanthian Boar in the previous episode, Hercules is now tasked with the next labour - to clean the Augean stables in one day.
With the help of his wit and strength, Hercules devises a plan to divert rivers into the stables and clean them out in a day's time. However, his clever plan is met with opposition from the stable owners and the powerful King Augeas. Hercules soon finds himself in a bind and must rely on his skills as a diplomat to win over both the King and the stable owners to successfully complete the labour.
The next challenge that Hercules faces is to capture the Cretan Bull which is terrorizing the island of Crete. With his strength and determination, Hercules is able to subdue the bull and bring it back alive to King Eurystheus.
As he moves on to his next task, Hercules is faced with a new set of challenges when he is tasked with obtaining the man-eating horses of Diomedes. In order to complete this labour, Hercules must not only defeat Diomedes but also overcome the beasts' extraordinary strength.
The next labour proves to be even more difficult, as Hercules is tasked with capturing the Golden Hind of Artemis, a swift and elusive creature that outruns even the fastest of hunters. Will Hercules be able to keep up with the Hind and bring it back alive to Eurystheus?
In the final labour of this episode, Hercules is tasked with bringing back the vicious guard dog of the underworld, Cerberus. With the help of the goddess Athena and the god Hermes, Hercules travels to the underworld and confronts the fierce creature to bring it back to the world above.
Throughout this episode, the audience is captivated by Hercules' bravery and perseverance as he faces one daunting task after another.
