MacLeod's past comes back to haunt him when he is accused of stealing a valuable artifact from an art gallery. The artifact in question is a Ming vase, which was on loan from the Chinese government. The gallery owners know that MacLeod would never steal anything, but they are under pressure from the authorities to find the vase, which has been stolen. The real thief is a woman named Lily, who is an old flame of MacLeod's. She stole the vase to pay off a debt to a Chinese triad, but now she is in over her head. MacLeod must help her clear her name before it's too late. Meanwhile, Richie is feeling left out and tries to find his place in the world. He soon discovers that he has a talent for martial arts and begins to study under a master. However, his new teacher has ties to the triad, and Richie finds himself in danger. MacLeod must save Richie and stop the triad from getting the vase before it's too late.
