Hot Package is an entertainment comedy series that aired in 2005. The series presents entertainment news in a comedic way. Some of the topics covered by Hot Package are parodies of real events, and others deal with fake events with the show making fun of the act of entertainment reporting itself. The series follows a newscast format with a newscaster introducing field reporters who then go out to gather the stories. Many of the clips show the reporters attempting to arrange to report on stories that are very silly, and would be difficult for a real entertainment program to present.
