The Impractical Jokers are back with Season 7, Episode 22 titled "Autograph Corrector." The show is a hidden camera reality series that follows four lifelong friends, Joe, Q, Sal, and Murr, as they compete in a series of hilarious challenges in public places. The person who earns the most points at the end of each episode is declared the winner, while the other three have to face a punishment decided by the winner.
In this episode, the Impractical Jokers use their wit and humor to prank unsuspecting people once again. The challenge for the day involves the guys meeting fans outside of a movie premiere and signing autographs, but there's a twist. One Joker has to sign autographs with whatever ridiculous tagline the others come up with, such as "Charmin' Sal" or "Murr The Jerk."
However, the real challenge comes when Joe is tasked with being an "autograph corrector." Joe can only sign autographs if he approves of the fan's spelling of their name. If there's a mistake, he rips it up and requests a do-over until they get it right. While this may not seem like a difficult task, it quickly becomes apparent that the Jokers have set him up for failure.
As the guys try to sell their ridiculous autographs, Joe tries his best to correct each fan's signature. He starts off being very polite and patient, but as the day goes on, he becomes increasingly frustrated with the fans' spelling mistakes. He insists on correcting everything, from the spelling of simple names like "Sarah" to more unique names like "Astrid."
While Joe's antics are hilarious, they quickly draw attention from the other fans waiting in line. Soon, a group of angry fans starts to form around the Jokers, accusing them of being rude and wasting their time. Joe tries to defuse the situation by apologizing and explaining that he's a stickler for correct spelling, but it only seems to make things worse.
As the day wears on, the situation becomes even more chaotic. Fans start to recognize the Jokers from the show and demand autographs, but Joe refuses to sign unless they spell their name correctly. The other Jokers can't resist making things worse by taunting Joe and telling the fans to intentionally misspell their names.
Despite the chaos, the guys manage to keep the prank going for as long as possible. Joe's frustration reaches a boiling point when a fan tries to get him to sign a poster with the name "Luke Skywalker," but spells it "Luke Skywalter." Joe can't take it anymore and snaps, ripping up the poster and declaring that he's done.
In the end, the guys tally up their points and reveal the loser of the challenge. As usual, the loser has to face a humiliating punishment, but viewers will have to tune in to find out what it is.
Overall, Impractical Jokers continues to deliver hilariously awkward moments in Season 7, Episode 22. "Autograph Corrector" is a great example of the show's ability to take an ordinary situation and turn it into a laugh-out-loud prank. Fans of the show won't want to miss this episode, which is guaranteed to leave them in stitches.
