Ep 2. Episode 2

Alice Moffat has been released from prison after serving five years for the murder of her husband Matt. However, she is still trying to clear her name and prove her innocence. In episode 2 of Innocent, Alice's world is rocked once again as new evidence comes to light regarding her husband's murder.

Alice's lawyer, Tom Wilson, has continued to investigate the case and has found CCTV footage from the night of Matt's murder that casts doubt on Alice's guilt. The footage shows a man in a hoodie entering and leaving the couple's house around the same time as the murder. Alice is confident that this evidence will help clear her name and is relieved when Tom tells her that they will be presenting it to the police.

Meanwhile, Alice's son, Rob, is struggling to come to terms with his mother's release. He is angry and frustrated that she was imprisoned for a crime she didn't commit and is struggling to forgive her for leaving him and his sister alone for five years. In an emotional scene, Alice tries to reach out to Rob and make amends, but he remains distant.

As the investigation continues, the police begin to look into the identity of the man in the hoodie. Is he the real killer, or is he just a red herring? Alice is on edge as she waits for the outcome, knowing that her freedom and her reputation are at stake.

Elsewhere, we see flashbacks to the night of the murder and learn more about Alice and Matt's tumultuous relationship. It's clear that there was a lot of tension and resentment between them, which has led some people to believe that Alice had a motive to kill her husband. But as Alice fights to clear her name, it becomes clear that there were other people in Matt's life who had just as much, if not more, reason to want him dead.

Innocent season 1 episode 2 is a tense and emotional instalment, as Alice and her family continue to deal with the aftermath of Matt's murder. With new evidence coming to light and the police closing in on the real killer, it's clear that there are still twists and turns to come in this gripping crime drama.
