The second whitetail they are after is called the “Big 8.” This deer has a unique feature, as its antlers formed as a drop tine which is a rare occurrence for whitetail antlers. Jim and Brian spot the Big 8 near a creek bed and immediately prepare for the hunt.

Brian positions himself at a strategic angle to capture all the action while Jim launches a well-planned attack on the Big 8. As with the Big 9, Jim must carefully navigate through challenging terrain, working his way closer to the animal.

The camera shows viewers an intense scene as Jim stalks the Big 8, carefully reading the animal's movements before making his move. After hours of chasing the Big 8, Jim finally comes within range and fires a shot which drops the animal on the spot.
