Judge Faith Jenkins presides over a courtroom that handles a variety of disputes and issues. In this particular episode, season 3 episode 18, titled "Lend A Loan; Poop in a Bag," two cases are presented to the judge for her decision.

The first case involves a couple who are being sued by a friend for a loan that he claims they never paid back. The plaintiff, a man named Eric, testified that the couple had borrowed $5,000 from him over a year ago and promised to pay it back within a few months. He claimed that despite repeated attempts to contact them, they had not made any payments towards the loan. The couple, on the other hand, claimed that they had never received the full loan amount from Eric and had tried to negotiate a more realistic payment plan. They argued that they had made several payments towards the loan and that Eric was exaggerating the debt.

As Judge Faith delved deeper into the evidence presented by both parties, it soon became apparent that there were discrepancies in both sides' stories. After hearing from witnesses and examining documents, Judge Faith was able to determine that Eric had indeed lent the couple $5,000 and that they had made some attempts to pay it back. However, she also found that Eric had inflated the amount owed, and the couple had only partially fulfilled their promise to repay the loan. Ultimately, Judge Faith ruled that the couple had to pay Eric the remaining balance of the loan plus interest, but not the full amount that he had been requesting.

In the second case, a landlord was suing one of her tenants for damaging the property and causing a nuisance. The landlord, Marie, testified that the tenant, a man named Tom, had caused significant damage to the apartment by allowing his dog to defecate inside and not cleaning it up. She also claimed that Tom had violated the lease agreement by playing loud music late at night and having numerous guests over, disturbing the other tenants in the building. Tom, however, argued that the damage he caused was minimal and that he had been given permission by Marie to have guests and play music.

As Judge Faith reviewed the evidence presented by both sides, she found that there was indeed significant damage to the apartment caused by Tom's negligence in cleaning up after his dog. She also determined that Tom had violated the lease agreement by causing a disturbance with his loud music and guests. However, she also found that Marie had been negligent in her role as a landlord by not properly maintaining the apartment and addressing issues with neighboring tenants. As a result, Judge Faith ruled that Tom had to pay for the necessary repairs to the apartment, but also awarded him a rent reduction for the period he had to endure the disturbance from other tenants.

Overall, season 3 episode 18 of Judge Faith proved to be an entertaining and thought-provoking installment of the show. Judge Faith demonstrated her expertise in mediating complex disputes and providing fair and reasoned judgments based on the facts presented. This episode showcased how even seemingly simple disputes can have multiple layers, and it is the judge's role to uncover the truth and deliver justice.
