In season 3 episode 74 of Judge Faith, titled Nasty Neighbors, two women who've had a long-standing feud over their neighboring properties take their grievances to court. Plaintiff, Ms. Johnson, claims that Defendant, Ms. Williams, is intentionally causing damage to her property by allowing a large tree to overhang and drop branches onto her roof. Ms. Johnson testifies that she's sent multiple letters to Ms. Williams requesting that she trim the tree, but to no avail.

Ms. Williams argues that her tree is perfectly healthy and poses no threat to Ms. Johnson's property. She claims that Ms. Johnson has been harassing her for years by making baseless complaints to the city about the state of her home and property. Ms. Williams says that she's never received any complaints from other neighbors about her tree, and that she's not responsible for any damage caused by acts of nature.

The judge listens to testimony from both women and inspects photos of the tree in question. She notes that the tree does indeed appear to be overhanging Ms. Johnson's roof, but that it's difficult to determine from the evidence whether or not it poses a danger. Additionally, the judge is concerned by the animosity between the two women, as it seems to be clouding their judgment and causing them to act unreasonably.

As the proceedings continue, it becomes clear that there's more to the dispute than just the tree. Ms. Johnson accuses Ms. Williams of playing loud music at all hours of the night, littering on her property, and even allowing her dog to defecate on her lawn. Ms. Williams denies these allegations and claims that Ms. Johnson is simply trying to make her life miserable.

The judge ultimately rules in favor of Ms. Johnson, ordering Ms. Williams to trim the overhanging branches of her tree and to refrain from causing any further damage to Ms. Johnson's property. She warns both women that they need to find a way to coexist peacefully, or else they'll find themselves back in court again.

This episode of Judge Faith highlights the importance of communication and compromise when it comes to disputes between neighbors. It also underscores the fact that small disagreements can escalate into major conflicts if not addressed in a timely and respectful manner.
