Carmen, Leo, and Andy are three friends who live in a vibrant, bustling neighborhood in a city. Carmen is a girl with a passion for music, Leo is a boy with a passion for art, and Andy loves to explore and learn new things. The three of them are very close, and they love to play together, explore their neighborhood, and try new things.

In the first episode of Let's Go Luna!, the three friends are excited to learn about two very different celebrations: What's the Big Idea? and Day of the Dead. The first celebrates ideas and creativity, while the second is a Mexican holiday that honors loved ones who have passed away.

The episode starts with Leo looking for inspiration for a mural he has been assigned to paint. Carmen and Andy suggest different ideas, and eventually, Leo decides to paint a mural that celebrates the power of creativity. Together, the three of them explore their neighborhood, looking for inspiration for the mural.

As they explore, they meet some of the neighborhood's most colorful characters. There's Luna, a talking moon who loves to travel and explore; Señor Monstruo, a monster who loves to sing; and Fabuloso, a magical soap bubble who loves to dance. The three friends are fascinated by them all and ask a lot of questions.

As they continue their exploration, they learn about What's the Big Idea?, a festival that celebrates creativity and new ideas. They decide to enter a contest to come up with the most creative idea, and with the help of their new friends, they come up with a plan to create a magical, giant mural.

Meanwhile, they also learn about Day of the Dead, a holiday that honors the spirits of those who have passed away. They visit a local cemetery and learn about the traditions associated with the holiday. They learn about the ofrenda, or altar, that people create to honor their loved ones, and they learn about the importance of remembering and celebrating those who have passed away.

Throughout the episode, Carmen, Leo, and Andy learn about the importance of creativity, imagination, and honoring the past. They also learn about the power of friendship and the importance of exploring and learning new things. In the end, they come up with a beautiful mural that celebrates all of these things, and they celebrate Day of the Dead with their new friends.
