Life on the Line is a reality series that first aired in 2011. The series is set in a medical school’s hospital that is one of largest in the US. The hospital trains doctors for about a quarter of California, and also teaches persons who are going to be sent out on humanitarian missions around the world. The series looks as the staff and students of this academic hospital as they go through the training necessary to become doctors, and what they plan on doing once they get out into the world. The series also looks at the medical emergencies inside of the hospital itself.
