Candidates are expected to be able to work competently across a wide array of environments and skill sets. Unlike many certifications, candidates who complete the Linux+ exams (LX0-103 and LX0-104) are awarded with not one, but three certifications.

Errata: At the end of the episode, Don mentioned installing the LVM during an install allowed all partitions to participate in LVM. He specifically mentioned the "boot volume" when he should have said "root volume". For the system to boot, the EFI partition and /boot cannot be a part of LVM as the service is not loaded until after the kernel fires.
