The show Little Princess follows the daily adventures of a young girl who lives in a castle. In season 1 episode 18, titled "What's Wrong With Gilbert?", the Little Princess and her friends notice that Gilbert the lizard is acting differently than usual. He's not playing with them or running around the castle. Instead, he's just sitting still and barely moving.
The Little Princess is worried about Gilbert and tries to get him to play with her, but he doesn't seem interested. She then goes to her father, the King, to ask for his help. The King suggests that they take Gilbert to see the Wizard, who might be able to help him. The Little Princess and her friends set out on a journey to find the Wizard's tower.
On the way, they encounter various obstacles, including a river they need to cross and a dark forest they need to navigate through. During their journey, the Little Princess and her friends discuss possible reasons why Gilbert might be acting the way he is. They come up with theories about him being sick, tired, or unhappy.
When they finally reach the Wizard's tower, they are greeted by the Wizard's assistant, a talking owl. The owl agrees to let them see the Wizard, but only if they can solve a riddle. The riddle is tricky, but the Little Princess manages to solve it by using her knowledge of the castle and its history.
Once they meet the Wizard, he listens to their concerns about Gilbert and examines him. After some testing, the Wizard discovers that Gilbert is not sick or tired, but is actually shedding his skin. He explains that this is a natural process for lizards, and that Gilbert will be back to his normal self soon.
The Little Princess and her friends are relieved to hear that Gilbert is not seriously ill, and they thank the Wizard for his help. They then head back to the castle, where they find Gilbert resting in his enclosure. They keep a close eye on him and make sure he has everything he needs to make it through his shedding process.
Throughout the episode, the Little Princess displays her caring and empathetic nature towards her animal friend Gilbert. The show emphasizes the importance of being attentive to the needs of others, both human and non-human. The episode also promotes problem-solving skills and the value of knowledge in finding solutions to problems.
