Ep 2. Moments of Truth in Service

Lodge 49 is a comedic drama series that follows the story of Sean "Dud" Dudley, a carefree surfing enthusiast who seems to be down on his luck, after being struck by a string of unfortunate events including the loss of his father and the collapse of the family's pool supply business. In preparation for the symposium, Dud is tasked with helping Ernie repair a leaky waterline in the Lodge's underground tunnels. It is during this service mission that Dud experiences a series of eye-opening and life-changing moments.

As Dud and Ernie work together, they discuss their shared experience of overworked disillusionment and financial strain. They relate to one another, each sharing their own unique perspectives on the challenges they now face. Ernie reveals to Dud that his motivation for fixing the Lodge's waterline goes beyond the needs of the Lodge itself; it is a chance to make amends for some of his past wrongdoings.
