Watch Preacher

Preacher is a television series based on the Vertigo comic books of the same name. The show centers on a disheartened preacher from a small-town in Texas known as Annville. Jesse Custer, the preacher, has a disreputable past and he considers leaving the church. However, a powerful entity known as Genesis inhabits Jesse. This causes him to decide to not leave the church. Jesse believes that God has abandoned mankind, and he decides to make things right again.

While traveling across America on his mission, Jesse is accompanied by the mysterious Tulip O'Hare, a woman from Jesse's past and his romantic interest. She is a skillful marksman which may prove to be valuable on the quest. The third member of the group is Proinsias Cassidy, an Irish vampire. He forms a strong friendship with Jesse but is addicted to drugs and alcohol. The entity known as Genesis is the result of an unnatural coupling between an angel and a demon. Therefore, it has both goodness and evil within its being. There are a number of other supernatural occurrences that keep this fantasy, adventure series sprinkled with darkly comic moments intriguing. These occurrences include exploding preachers in Africa and Russia and many other bizarre situations.
