Ep 1. They're Back, Aren't They?

Lucifer season 3 episode 1, titled "They're Back, Aren't They?" begins with Lucifer waking up in the middle of the desert with his wings inexplicably reattached to his back. Confused and at a loss as to how this could have happened, he calls upon Amenadiel, the angel who removed his wings initially, for help.

Meanwhile, Detective Chloe Decker is grappling with the aftermath of the season 2 finale and the revelation that her partner Lucifer is, in fact, the devil. As she tries to come to terms with this, she is called to a crime scene that bears a striking resemblance to a murder committed years ago by the infamous serial killer "The Sinnerman". When a clue points her towards a potential suspect, she teams up with Lucifer to bring him to justice.

At the same time, Amenadiel is on a mission of his own - to retrieve the stolen flaming sword, which could have catastrophic consequences if it falls into the wrong hands.

As the episode comes to a close, all these threads come together in a shocking reveal that leaves Lucifer and his loved ones in grave danger.
