In season 3 episode 7 of Magic for Humans, titled "Tradition", magician Justin Willman takes us on a journey exploring the different traditions and rituals that people follow to bring them luck or good fortune.

The episode starts off with a traditional game of rock-paper-scissors, where Justin challenges a group of people to participate in a competition. The catch is that he always wins, no matter how hard they try. He reveals his secret, which is a simple magic trick that he uses to predict their moves. He then goes on to teach them the trick so that they too can use it to win in their own games of rock-paper-scissors.

Next, Justin visits a temple where he observes a traditional Chinese practice of throwing coins into a fountain for good luck. He decides to put his own spin on it by making the coins disappear and reappear in the fountain, much to the amazement and delight of the temple-goers.

He then visits a group of fishermen who have a tradition where they rub a fish for good luck before they go out to sea. Justin takes a fish and magically turns it into a stack of money, leaving the fishermen in awe and wondering if they should start a new tradition of rubbing money instead of fish.

In another segment of the episode, Justin meets with a group of women who practice the traditional art of hula dancing in Hawaii. He performs a mind-bending trick where he takes a lit candle and makes it appear to float in mid-air, much to the amazement of the dancers. After the trick, he reveals that the secret was in the way he held the candle, which created an optical illusion.

Towards the end of the episode, Justin takes part in a Mexican tradition known as the Day of the Dead. He visits a family who have set up an altar to remember their loved ones who have passed away. Justin performs a touching trick where he makes a photo of the family's deceased relative appear in the center of a flower. The family is moved to tears and Justin expresses his own appreciation for the tradition and the meaning behind it.

As the episode concludes, Justin reflects on the importance of traditions and the role they play in bringing people together. He reminds us that while some traditions may seem silly to outsiders, they hold a deep meaning and significance to those who take part in them.

Overall, "Tradition" is a heartwarming episode that celebrates the diversity of human traditions and rituals while showcasing Justin Willman's incredible magic tricks and illusions.
