Ep 11. I Don't Believe in Mermaids

In this episode of Mako Mermaids, a group of teenagers from a nearby coastal town come to the island for a camping trip. When the Mermaids accidentally reveal themselves to the group, they quickly realize that they have a bigger problem on their hands than just keeping their secret.

One girl in the group, named Carly, is a self-proclaimed skeptic who doesn't believe in mermaids. When the Mermaids hear this, they decide to play a little trick on her and try to convince her that they are in fact real.

At first, Carly is unimpressed and remains convinced that the Mermaids are just a hoax. But when the Mermaids begin showing off their magical powers, she starts to change her tune. One of the Mermaids, named Sirena, even agrees to take her for a swim so she can see the underwater world for herself.

Meanwhile, the Mermaids are also dealing with some internal drama. Ondina is frustrated with Mimmi because she doesn't seem to take their job of protecting Mako Island seriously enough. Mimmi, on the other hand, just wants to fit in and make friends with the other Mermaids.

As the episode progresses, Carly begins to realize that the Mermaids are in fact real, and starts to feel guilty for doubting them. But when the camping group accidentally starts a fire that threatens to destroy the island, everyone must work together to put it out and save the Mermaids' home.

In the end, Carly makes amends with the Mermaids and even becomes good friends with Sirena. And the Mermaids realize that, despite their differences, they need to work together in order to protect their home and keep their secret safe.
