Ep 4. Gwaine

Gwaine is the fourth episode of season 3 of the British fantasy adventure series, Merlin. The episode follows the arrival of a charismatic and charming stranger named Gwaine to the city of Camelot. Merlin and Arthur, who are suspicious of his motives, invite him to join a feast at the castle. However, Gwaine's relaxed attitude and penchant for drinking soon runs him afoul of Uther's strict laws, and he finds himself imprisoned.

When Merlin learns that Gwaine is a skilled warrior and former knight, he enlists his help in rescuing a group of captured villagers from a ruthless band of brigands. The plan proves successful, and Gwaine wins the respect of Arthur and his knights. As the adventurers prepare to journey back to Camelot, they are ambushed by the brigands, and Gwaine must prove his loyalty to Arthur and his cause.

Despite initial reservations about Gwaine's character, Merlin and his friends come to see him as a valuable ally and friend. They find themselves caught up in his merriment and revelry, and he proves to be a boon to their cause. However, tensions continue to simmer between Gwaine and Uther, and the stage is set for a dramatic showdown in future episodes.
