Go Forth and Die is the thirteenth and final episode of the first season of the animated television series Metalocalypse. This episode was aired on September 23, 2006, on Adult Swim.

The episode opens with the band Dethklok getting ready for the show but faces issues after Toki gets involved in a car accident. Unable to wait for Toki's return, Nathan decides to go on stage with only the remaining members of the band, Murderface, Skwisgaar, Pickles, and William. During the concert, the band's manager, Charles Offdensen, notices that the record label's CEO, Mr. Salacia, is not present, which leads to Offdensen having an ominous feeling.

After the show, the band heads to Salacia's hotel room to ask why he was not present for their concert. Salacia informs them that their show needs to be canceled due to Toki's accident, causing a panic within the band. Salacia reveals that Toki is in critical condition and that by the time he recovers, their season will be over. The band realizes that canceling the show will lead to financial losses for their company, which will affect their lifestyle, and start to brainstorm ideas to keep the show running despite Toki's absence.

The band decides to create a robot replica of Toki, who can be trained to play the guitar and perform as a replacement member on stage. They start training the robot, but it turns out to be a disaster, and the robot malfunctions and almost kills the band members. Their attempts fail as no robot can replicate Toki's level of expertise on the guitar.

As the deadline for their show approaches, the band meets an old, eccentric guitar maker named Magnus Hammersmith, who instructs them to go into the wilderness to search for the inspiration necessary for their music. Dethklok travels into the woods and finds inspiration from a baby deer. They return to the city and start working on a new hit, "Spiritual Awakening," and sets Toki's hospital room as the location for their music video. The video is dedicated to Toki, and it shows the band's appreciation for him.

While shooting the music video, Dethklok is ambushed by the Tribunal, an organization that is against the band's influence and power. During the ambush, Offdensen reveals to the band that he is their protection and is a member of a secret society that oversees the band, and that he has been hiding this from them to safeguard them. With Offdensen's help, the band fights off the Tribunal with Magnus's guitar.

The episode ends with Dethklok performing their new hit, "Spiritual Awakening," during Toki's hospital room, where he wakes up from his coma as the camera fades to black.

In conclusion, Go Forth and Die is a thrilling finale episode of the first season of Metalocalypse. It offers a climax to the season-long arc while tying up several loose ends from the previous episodes. The episode features memorable moments of the band's hardship, the unveiling of important secrets, and the strength of their band's bond.
