Back in Massachusetts, we see Vic at work in her father's garage, fixing up her dirt bike. Her father is supportive of her interests and encourages her to pursue her talents, but Vic is still struggling to find her place in the world. She dreams of attending art school in New York City but worries that her family won't be able to afford it.

Later, Vic goes to a party hosted by her friend Willa, where she meets a young man named Craig. Craig seems impressed by Vic's artwork and tells her about a prestigious art school in Rhode Island. The two share a brief moment of connection, but Vic is soon distracted by a strange sensation in her head. She realizes that someone or something is calling her, and she follows the bridge in her mind.

Vic eventually arrives at a covered bridge in the woods, where she encounters what appears to be a ghostly figure. The figure is revealed to be Charlie Manx, who tries to lure Vic into his car. Vic is understandably creeped out by this stranger, and she escapes back to the party with Craig's help. However, the encounter has left her shaken, and she begins to experience disturbing visions of Manx and his car.

As the episode concludes, we see Manx in Christmasland, where he is greeted by a group of children dressed in red. The atmosphere is eerie and unsettling, and we're left wondering what Manx's plans for these children are.

Overall, "NOS4A2 Ghost" sets up the world of the series and introduces us to its main characters. We also get a taste of the supernatural elements that will be present throughout the show, as well as a sense of the danger that Vic will need to navigate in order to survive.
