Ep 3. The Night Road

Victoria McQueen, a young artist, has always been special. Her talent has allowed her to create a bridge to the alternate universe that exists within her own mind. However, this talent is not without its consequences. Charlie Manx, a vampire-like being who feeds on the souls of children, has taken a keen interest in Victoria. He wants her to be his successor and carry on his legacy of collecting and storing the souls of children in a place called Christmasland, a twisted land where it's always Christmas but things are far from jolly.

In The Night Road, the third episode of season two, we find Charlie Manx in dire straits. The transfer of energy from the soul he consumed in the last episode has not gone as planned, and the effect on his mind and body is devastating.
