Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners Season 4 Episode 4 Tracey & Kerry and Shelley & Lee

Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners is a television show that follows people with obsessive-compulsive disorder who have an affinity for cleaning. These compulsive cleaners are taken to the homes of people who are in dire need of cleaning assistance due to hoarding tendencies, messiness, or who just have not got themselves sorted out.

In season 4, episode 4, entitled "Tracey & Kerry and Shelley & Lee," we follow two pairings of compulsive cleaners and those in need of their help. Firstly, Tracey and Kerry, two best friends from Essex, England, are matched with Shelley and Lee, a couple who live in a cluttered home in the same county. Shelley and Lee's home has become so cluttered that it has taken over their lives, and they have not been able to spend any quality time together without the clutter getting in the way. The two compulsive cleaners will have their work cut out for them in this episode.

Tracey and Kerry arrive at Shelley and Lee's house, and they are immediately shocked at the scale of the mess. The two compulsive cleaners discuss how they're going to tackle the mess, and they agree that they will begin by decluttering the living room. They start by piling everything onto the sofas and chairs in the room, and they work their way through the piles of clutter. With each bag of rubbish, the house starts to feel lighter, and Shelley and Lee are visibly relieved as they start to see some progress. Tracey and Kerry methodically work through every nook and cranny of the room, getting rid of the rubbish and sorting through the items that need to stay.

In the meantime, Shelley and Lee are sent out of their home for a few hours while the compulsive cleaners do their work. They are both eager to see the progress that has been made when they return. When they do come back, Tracey and Kerry bring them into the living room and reveal the significant transformation that has taken place. The surfaces of the living room are clear, and the clutter has been removed. Shelley and Lee are ecstatic at the progress that has been made in such a short space of time.

In the second half of the episode, we meet two new compulsive cleaners, Hayley and Michelle, who are paired with another hoarding couple, Colin and Lynn. Colin and Lynn live in a rural part of the UK, where the layout of their house is unique. The house is divided into three sections, one of which is not used at all, while the other two are cluttered with the couple's belongings. Colin and Lynn have two chickens and several dogs that also live indoors, making the task of cleaning even harder.

Hayley and Michelle dive into the task at hand, and they begin sorting through the couple's belongings and discussing what they want to keep and what needs to go. They tackle the living room first, and it takes several hours to get the work done. However, once they are finished, Colin and Lynn are shocked that their living room looks like living quarters again.

In the end, both sets of compulsive cleaners do their thing, and both couples have a lot to feel happy about. Although the process is long and hard, it is worth it in the end, and the compulsive cleaners leave the home much cleaner and more organized than it was when they arrived.
