Ep 7. Flint Glass

Krystal Stubbs is a woman on a mission in the seventh episode of On Becoming a God in Central Florida. Titled Flint Glass, the episode follows Krystal as she struggles to uncover the truth about her husband's death and takes on her ex-boss Obie Garbeau II, the CEO of FAM. With every move she makes, Krystal puts herself in danger, but she is determined to get justice for her family and to bring down the greedy and corrupt Garbeau family.

The episode begins with Krystal sneaking into FAM's headquarters to find evidence of Obie's wrongdoing. She hits pay dirt when she overhears a conversation between Obie and his son Cody about their plan to let Krystal take the fall for Obie's illegal activities. Krystal quickly records the conversation on her phone and makes a hasty exit. Meanwhile, Cody is worried about his father's sanity and is trying to get him to retire from FAM, but Obie won't hear of it.

Krystal meets with her lawyer, Stan, to discuss her options. Stan tells her that they have a strong case against Obie, but they need more evidence. Krystal decides to go undercover and take a job at FAM to gather more information. She uses her charm and wit to impress Obie and his team, and she is soon promoted to the position of executive assistant.

While working at FAM, Krystal discovers that Obie has been secretly investing in the Flint Glass Company, a struggling glassware manufacturer. Krystal realizes that Obie's plan is to buy Flint Glass cheap and make a fortune by selling it to FAM's retailers. Krystal sees an opportunity to use Flint Glass to her advantage and hatches a plan to leverage Obie out of FAM.

Krystal meets with the CEO of Flint Glass, Cowboy Bill, and convinces him to let her partner with him to save his company. She gets Cody to invest in Flint Glass and puts together a presentation to convince Obie to make a deal with the company. However, Obie is not interested in doing business with Flint Glass and turns down Krystal's proposal.

Krystal realizes that she needs to get Obie to change his mind, so she comes up with a daring plan. She invites Obie to a party at her house and convinces him to try one of the tequila shots she has prepared. Unbeknownst to Obie, Krystal has spiked his drink with a special chemical that causes him to hallucinate. While Obie is lost in his own mind, Krystal takes a photo of him and the evidence she needs to bring him down.

The episode ends with Krystal getting the evidence she needs to take down Obie and save her family. She has proven that she is a force to be reckoned with and has shown that she can outsmart even the most powerful people in Central Florida. Krystal's journey is far from over, but she has taken a major step towards becoming a god.
