Mr. Arkwright is under the impression that he looks a bit shabby and his old suits are nowhere near presentable, hence he decides to buy a new one. He convinces Nurse Gladys to accompany him to the outfitting store to receive her styling criticism. However, once they reach the store, Arkwright is besieged with choices, from fabrics to cuts, and he just can't seem to find the perfect suit. Nevertheless, Nurse Gladys remains adamant on helping him select a new suit, leading to a hilarious sequence of events as she persuades him to test out various clothing items. Meanwhile, Granville's focus is on making purchases and selling goods over the counter, and he clashes with his Uncle, who would rather pace around the store in his new outfit. Ned has also been under the influence of an infatuated customer, leading to a humorous scenario where he attempts to enlighten Nurse Gladys' affection for him. Later on in the episode, Mr. Arkwright finally purchases his new clothes and sets out to flaunt his alternative look.
