Pokemon the Series Season 19 Episode 3 A Giga Battle With Mega Results

Ash and his friends are back on their journey through the Kalos region in Pokemon the Series season 19 episode 3, titled "A Giga Battle With Mega Results." The episode begins with the gang resting at a Pokemon Center, where they meet a Trainer named Korrina. Korrina is the Gym Leader of the Shalour City Gym, which specializes in Fighting-type Pokemon. She is also the holder of the Mega Ring, which allows her to Mega Evolve her Lucario.

Korrina tells Ash and his friends about the nearby Tower of Mastery, where Trainers go to learn about Mega Evolution. Ash is excited to learn about Mega Evolution and decides to visit the tower. Once there, they meet an old man named Gurkinn, who happens to be Korrina's grandfather and the master of Mega Evolution. Gurkinn agrees to teach Ash about Mega Evolution, but only after he defeats Korrina in a battle.

The battle between Ash and Korrina is intense, with both sides giving it their all. Korrina starts off with her Lucario and Ash sends out his Hawlucha. The two Pokemon battle it out, with Hawlucha coming out on top. Korrina then sends out her Mega Lucario, which proves to be too much for Hawlucha. Ash decides to use his own Mega Evolution and Mega Evolves his Pikachu into Mega Pikachu. With this new form, Pikachu is able to defeat Mega Lucario and win the battle for Ash.

After his victory, Gurkinn agrees to teach Ash about Mega Evolution. He explains that Mega Evolution is a special technique that allows certain Pokemon to evolve temporarily into a much stronger form. In order to Mega Evolve, the Pokemon needs to be holding its respective Mega Stone and the Trainer needs to have a Mega Ring. Gurkinn then gives Ash a keystone, which is needed to Mega Evolve Pikachu.

As they leave the tower, Ash and his friends are approached by Team Rocket, who are up to their usual shenanigans. They try to steal Gurkinn's Mega Evolution research, but are stopped by Ash and his Pikachu. Pikachu uses his newly learned move, Thunderbolt, to blast Team Rocket off again.

The episode concludes with Ash and his friends continuing on their journey, excited about the possibilities of Mega Evolution. They know that with Mega Evolution, they will be able to take their Pokemon battles to the next level.
