Ep 9. To Top a Totem!

Ash and the gang arrive at Wela Volcano Park where Ash plans to take on the fiery Grand Trial. As they enjoy the beautiful scenery and hot springs, they meet Olivia, the Island Kahuna who oversees the volcanic island. They learn about the legend of Totem Pokémon, powerful guardian Pokémon who protect the island from danger.

Ash is determined to win the Grand Trial and earn his next Z-Crystal, so he heads to the Ruins of Life where he'll face the island's Totem Pokémon, Marowak. Ash is confident in his Pikachu's strength, but things quickly take an unexpected turn when the Totem Marowak appears to be much more powerful than normal.

With the help of a new friend, a local Shiny Charjabug, Ash and Pikachu soon discover that great power can come from unexpected places. Together, they devise a plan to take down the Totem Marowak and prove themselves worthy of the honor of being the region's Champion.
