Primal Survivor is an exhilarating television series that follows adventurer and survival expert Hazen Audel as he ventures across the globe to learn about and live among some of the world's most isolated and extreme indigenous communities. The Pintupi also demonstrate their incredible hunting skills, which involve tracking animals over long distances in the desert. They show Hazen how to identify subtle signs like footprints and scat to track an animal's movement, and how to use bow and arrow to take it down. Hazen is amazed at their patience and meticulousness, and tries his hand at tracking a kangaroo. He soon realizes just how challenging it is to keep up with the animal's movements, let alone hit it with an arrow.

Throughout the episode, Hazen is struck by the deep connection that the Pintupi have with the land, and the respect that they have for the natural world. They view themselves as custodians of the desert, and believe that it is their responsibility to ensure that it remains healthy and productive for future generations. Hazen is impressed by their resourcefulness and resilience, and begins to understand why they have survived for so long in such a harsh environment.
