Ep 1. Pilot

Proven Innocent season 1 episode 1, titled “Pilot,” introduces viewers to the protagonist, Madeline Scott, played by Rachelle Lefevre. The two siblings have a complicated relationship, but ultimately support and love each other.

Another key character is Easy Boudreau (played by Russell Hornsby), the assistant district attorney who put Madeline away for murder all those years ago. Easy is now running for governor and sees Madeline’s work as a threat to his career. He is determined to discredit her and her clients at every turn.

The episode also introduces Madeline’s team at her law firm, including Bodie Quick (played by Vincent Kartheiser), a brilliant legal mind who is always thinking two steps ahead, and Violet Price (played by Nikki M. James), a young lawyer who is eager to learn from Madeline.

“Pilot” sets the stage for the rest of the season, highlighting the complexities of the American criminal justice system and the toll it can take on those who are wrongfully accused and imprisoned. It also shows Madeline’s unwavering determination to fight for justice and clear the names of those who have been falsely accused.
