The Passage is a gripping paranormal thriller from FOX (US), based on the bestselling novel of the same name by author Justin Cronin. The series follows the story of Amy Bellafonte (Saniyya Sidney), a young girl who is chosen to be the subject of a dangerous medical experiment that could alter the course of human evolution. Playing opposite Sidney in the pivotal role of FBI Agent Brad Wolgast is Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who is best known for his starring role in Saved by the Bell.

The show is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is on the brink of extinction after a mysterious virus begins to spread across the globe. The virus mutates humans into a new species of vampiric creatures known as "virals," which are faster, stronger, and smarter than their human counterparts. In an effort to find a cure for the virus, the U.S. government creates a secret medical facility known as Project Noah, where scientists experiment on death row inmates in an attempt to develop an immunity to the virus.

Enter Amy Bellafonte, a young girl who is kidnapped by the government and taken to Project Noah. Despite the risks, the scientists decide to use Amy as a test subject because of her unique genetic makeup. However, Brad Wolgast, who is sent to transport Amy to the facility, develops a bond with the young girl and eventually decides to help her escape.

As the story unfolds, we discover that Amy possesses special powers that could hold the key to both curing the virus and stopping the virals. With the help of Brad and a few other key characters, Amy sets out on a dangerous mission to save humanity and stop the government from exploiting her unique gift.

One of the show's greatest strengths is its strong cast of characters, who are complex, flawed, and fascinating to watch. Gosselaar shines as Brad, a man torn between his loyalty to the government and his growing affection for Amy. Meanwhile, Sidney delivers a stunning performance as Amy, a young girl who must navigate a treacherous world while coming to terms with her own unique identity.

The show is expertly crafted, with stunning visuals, intense action, and a gripping storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat. As the plot unfolds, we learn more about the virus, the government's involvement, and the true extent of Amy's powers. Each episode reveals new twists and turns, building towards an explosive finale that will leave you reeling.

Overall, The Passage is a must-watch show for fans of paranormal thrillers, science fiction, and post-apocalyptic dramas. With its strong cast, expert storytelling, and breathtaking cinematography, it's no wonder why this show quickly became a favorite among audiences and critics alike.
